The lens using Orthokeratology treatment called ortho-k lens or OK lens. It is Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lens usually worn at night and removed the next morning. It changes the shape of cornea and vision of you correctly for a certain period. So you can live with comfortable eyesight without wearing anything after removing OK lens. The correction is temporary therefore you have to wear OK lens on a regular basis, on the other hand, you can quit the treatment anytime and the shape of cornea is restored.

How many days will it take to get stable unaided vision?
Although there are individual differences , unaided vision is gradually improved day by day and become stable after 1 week from starting in most cases.
How many hours are required to sleep with the lens wear overnight?
Recommended to wear at least 5 hours.
How long is the lifetime of Breath-O Correct?
Same as typical RGP lens ( 2years as a guide), Regular review is required during wearing, and four objective indicators are mainly checked:
- Whether the cornea is healthy
- Whether the naked eye vision is satisfactory
- Whether the corneal topography is normal
- Whether the lens is damaged
When continuous use is difficult, take necessary action such as replacing the lens.
What color is applied to Breath-O Correct?
Only blue is available. To Confirm lens specification marked on each lens when distinguish the lens of left and right
Is the effectiveness of Breath-O Correct made from unique flexible material enough for reshaping the cornea?
Some clinical study were conducted in Japan & Hong Kong so far, safety and effectiveness of Breath-O Correct and its material are validated through the tests.
Can Breath-O Correct cure myopia?
Breath-O Correct aims to use the special design of the Orthokeratoscope to change the curvature of the cornea, thus temporarily reducing the myopia of the eye. You can maintain good vision throughout the day after wearing one night. However, if you stop wearing it, you will return to the original myopia.
How to choose?
The professional registered optometrist or ophthalmologist will perform the formal and comprehensive review within 3 months of the initial wearing of the orthopedics at the optician. After 3 months of wearing, it is still necessary to conduct a strict review on a regular basis.
How to wear?
Keep your personal hygiene and wash your hands before operating the lenses.
- Place the inner surface of the lens up on the tip of the right finger, drop the solution on the concave surface of the lens,
- Use the left index finger to open the upper eyelid, and the right middle finger to open the lower eyelid to ensure that the lens is placed on the cornea.
- Sleep with the lens overnight for at least 5hours.
How to remove?
Keep your personal hygiene and wash your hands before operating the lenses
- Apply the artificial tear eye-drops or a similar substance to the eye, and confirm that your lens is on the iris and becomes movable.
- Press hairlines of the upper and lower eyelashes with both index fingers (see Figure 1 below).
- Lift the finger holding the upper eyelid and hold the top edge of your lens with the upper eyelid (see Figure 2 below).
- Gently lift the finger holding the lower eyelid and remove your lens with eyelids in a scooping manner (see Figure 3 below).
- Rub your lenses by lens care products, wash out with lens care products, and place to the lens case with full of lens care products.

- Apply the artificial tear eye-drops or a similar substance to the eye, and confirm that your lens is on the iris and becomes movable.
- Hold the plunger by thumb and index finger of your dominant hand (see Figure 1 below).
- Open both eyes wide while looking in the mirror, and make sure that your lenses are placed on your eyes (see Figure 1 below).
- Lightly push the plunger straight in the center of your lens (see Figure 2 below).
- Lower the plunger and remove your lens from the eyes, with attention not to close the eyes (see Figure 3 below).
